Using the Tableau Metadata API, you can access connection information used by Tableau content like data sources, workbooks, and flows.
In some cases you might need to identify the connection type used by the content. When you query a database object or an object that supports the “ConnectionType” property, such as UpstreamDatabases, the query returns the connection type name.
Note: CustomSQL database object does not support the ConnectionType property.
