Server Upgrade - Verify Accounts


Before you upgrade Tableau Server, verify that the account you will use for running Tableau Server Setup has sudo access.

If your organisation uses an external identity store (LDAP or Active Directory), then it's a best practice to have the credentials or the keytab file for the account that is used to bind with LDAP.
