Color Legend
The color legend can either be categorical or quantitative. A categorical legend represents discrete categories such as customer names and regions while a quantitative legend represents a range of numeric values such as sales and profit.

To edit a categorical color legend:

Right-click (Control-click on Mac) the legend and select Edit Colors.

Select a data item in the list on the left, and then select a new color in the palette on the right.

Click OK.
Note: You can select a different Color Palette from the drop-down list in the upper right corner of the Edit Color dialog box.
To edit a quantitative color legend:

Right-click (Control-click on Mac) the legend and select Edit Colors.

Click the color indicator next to the color ramp and select a new color in the spectrum.

You can also specify one or more of the following options:

Stepped Color - groups the values into uniform bins each given a unique color.

Reversed - switches the order of the colors in the range.

Use Full Color Range - starting and ending numbers in the range are assigned full intensity
(only available when using a diverging color palette).

Optionally use the Advanced options to define starting, center, and ending values for the color range.

When finished, click OK.
Note: You can select a different Color Palette from the drop-down list at the top of the Edit Color dialog box.
