Connect to Data

Applies to: Tableau Data Management

Before you can create a virtual connection, you must connect to data.

  1. In the Connections pane, click Add Connection.
  2. Choose the connector for your data.
  3. Enter the information you’re prompted for.
  4. Click Sign In. To add more connections, repeat these steps. Then begin creating a virtual connection.
