Introduction
You can deploy Tableau Server on a Google Compute Engine (GCE) virtual machine (VM). A Tableau Server deployment on GCE supports the following:

Self-Deploy to Google Compute Engine VM - Provides the most flexibility and options to customize Tableau Server to your environment.
Self-deployment of Tableau Server on a Google Compute Engine VM is recommended for development, test, and production environments that start simple but may need to scale later.
