In Tableau Server version 2025.1:

  • Extract failure notifications for non-admins: Users to refresh extracts can optionally receive notifications if extract refreshes for published workbooks fail.

  • User attributes: Customize and control data access in embedded content by enabling user attribute functions to accept user attributes from a JSON Web Token (JWT).

  • Dutch language support: Tableau Server supports Dutch (nl_NL).

  • Data stories changes: Tableau Data Stories is retired. With advances in natural language technologies, we're developing an improved interface to make it easier to ask questions.
