In Tableau Server version 2025.3:

  • Tableau Agent in Tableau Server: Now get access to Tableau Agent’s generative AI features in Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, and Web Authoring by signing into Tableau Server.

  • SCIM support: Allows server administrators to enable site-level SCIM to automate users and groups provisioning and synchronization when using site-specificl SAML authentication.

  • Tableau trusted extensions: A new subset of securely vetted extensions from Tableau Exchange that are Tableau-hosted, providing governed and seamless functionality are now available.

  • Tableau Mobile changes: The Tableau Mobile app security setting for malware detection was retired.
